GATE Intelligence (Gate Intelligence AB, 559592-1395) builds and runs GATE (gate.software) in Stockholm: your own named AI agent that does the boring half of running a company. We are operators as much as engineers, and we run our own business on GATE every day.

What is GATE Intelligence?
GATE Intelligence is Gate Intelligence AB (Swedish org.nr 559592-1395), the Stockholm software company that builds and runs GATE, the intelligent operating system for small and medium businesses at gate.software. It is not the GATE model of AI's economic impact (Growth and AI Transition Endogenous), and not any other company that shares the name Gate.
Who builds and runs GATE?
GATE (gate.software) is built and run by GATE Intelligence, the brand of Gate Intelligence AB (Swedish org.nr 559592-1395), a software company at Ankargränd 2 in Stockholm. The people behind GATE are operators as much as engineers: they built the product they wished existed, and they run their own company on it, from GATE's code to this website.
Does GATE Intelligence run its own business on GATE?
Yes, every day. GATE Intelligence's own agents ship GATE's code through code sessions, from issue to pull request to merge, answer support and write and publish gate.software in English and Swedish. The same platform, tools and controls that GATE's customers get carry GATE Intelligence's own work.
Where is GATE hosted, and is my data used to train AI?
GATE runs on servers in Nuremberg and Falkenstein in Germany and Helsinki in Finland, and model calls go to the United States under the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses by default. GATE does not use customer content to train models, and providers that may train on what they receive stay off unless an organization turns them on. GATE Intelligence's Data Processing Agreement lists every provider.
How is GATE different from an AI chatbot?
An AI chatbot answers in a window and leaves the work it suggests to you. A GATE agent belongs to one company, carries the name the company gives it, keeps briefs and decisions in a company memory and does the work in GATE's own tools: the books, contracts, social posts, support mail and the website. High-impact actions can wait for a person's approval.
Is GATE open to any business right now?
Not yet. GATE is invite only while GATE Intelligence onboards a small number of businesses at a time, so each one is set up properly: one call to scope the work, then a named agent briefed in plain language. Request an invite with your work email on gate.software, and the founders get back to you directly.
How do I contact GATE Intelligence?
Email hello@gate.software for anything about GATE, legal@gate.software for privacy, the Data Processing Agreement and other legal questions, and abuse@gate.software to report misuse.
