What is the GATE platform?
The GATE platform is one place where a company's own named AI agent remembers the business, works in the company's own tools and does the boring half of running it: the books, contracts, social posts, support mail and the website. Most companies run one or two agents on GATE, briefed in plain language in the GATE chat, on WhatsApp or in Slack. GATE's servers are in Germany and Finland.
How does GATE's company memory work?
GATE saves briefs, corrections and decisions to a company memory that every agent in the organization can search, so a business teaches GATE once. A second agent starts from what the first already knows, and the embeddings behind memory search are computed on GATE's own server. The memory belongs to one organization: each organization's data and bots are isolated from every other organization.
Is GATE tied to one AI?
No. GATE uses several AI models and picks the best one for each job, and when a better model comes out, GATE adds it without the customer changing anything. Many of GATE's tools, such as the bookkeeping and the signing flow, are plain software with no AI inside, so the agent follows fixed rules where a job has them.
Is our data used to train models?
No. GATE does not use your content to train models, and providers GATE classifies as training on what they receive stay off until your organization's owner allows them. Your mail, calendar and files are read for the task at hand, and GATE does not copy whole mailboxes, calendars or drives.
Can we see what the GATE agent did?
Yes. GATE logs agent actions, tool calls and administrative events, and each step the agent takes shows in its chat, tool by tool. A code session keeps a full transcript you can open, and high-impact actions can require your explicit approval first: by default, sales emails wait for a person's yes and new ads are created paused.
Where is GATE hosted, and does data leave the EU?
GATE's production servers are in Nuremberg, Germany, with encrypted backups in Falkenstein, Germany, and support servers in Helsinki, Finland. Model calls and a few services around them run in the United States under the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses by default. For all processing inside the EU/EEA, GATE Intelligence scopes a local EU package with the customer; until it is agreed and set up, the default setup applies.
What standards is GATE aligned with?
GATE's controls are designed to align with GDPR, ISO/IEC 42001 and the AICPA SOC 2 trust services criteria, and GATE holds no certification against them today. GATE's Data Processing Agreement under GDPR Article 28 is published, and the full control list, from access control to incident response, is in the Trust Center.
How do I get started with GATE?
GATE is invite only while GATE Intelligence onboards a small number of businesses at a time. Request an invite with your work email; then you name your agent, connect the tools you already use, such as Gmail, Microsoft 365, WhatsApp or Slack, and hand your agent the first job in plain language.
