Bookkeeping

Your books, kept properly.

Day-to-day bookkeeping to Swedish standards, run by agents on a real double-entry ledger: the BAS chart, VAT, bank reconciliation, and the annual report, plus the share register and a deadline-aware checklist of everything you have to file. Not a guess at your numbers, the actual books.

How it works

From a receipt to a filed annual report.

Every krona lands on the BAS chart the way an accountant would put it there, and the VAT return, the SIE 4, and the annual report all build off the same ledger.

01Capture it

Verifikat, as they happen.

Invoices, receipts, bank rows, and Stripe payouts go in as verifikat on the BAS chart, the way an accountant would enter them, not a pile of screenshots.

02Reconcile

The bank, matched.

Bank transactions reconcile against your books. FX and fees are handled. What is left is flagged for you, not buried.

03VAT and the annual report

Moms, SIE 4, K2.

VAT returns at 25/12/6 with EU reverse charge, the SIE 4 export, and the K2 annual report are all built from the same ledger, so the numbers agree everywhere.

04You stay in control

Locked periods, never auto-filed.

Periods lock, every verifikat is hash-chained and retained for seven years, and GATE never files to Skatteverket or Bolagsverket for you. You review and submit.

What you get

The books, not a black box.

Real double-entry

On the BAS 2026 chart

Not a spreadsheet or a feed of guesses. A proper double-entry ledger on the Swedish BAS chart, the structure your accountant and auditor expect.

Moms handled

25, 12, 6, and reverse charge

VAT rates, EU reverse charge, and VIES are applied correctly, so the moms return is right without you wrestling the rules.

Reconciliation

Matched, not manual

Transactions reconcile to the ledger automatically. FX and Stripe payouts land in the right place; exceptions surface, they do not hide.

Annual report

SIE 4 and K2

The SIE 4 export and the K2 annual report come straight from the same ledger, so what you file matches what is in the books.

Cap table + deadlines

Aktiebok and a filing checklist

The share register stays current, and a deadline-aware checklist tracks everything a Swedish company must file.

Audit-ready

Hash-chained, locked, retained

Every verifikat is hash-chained, periods lock, and records are retained for seven years. Built to stand up to review.

How it fits

The numbers the rest of the business runs on.

The books are the source of truth. The same ledger feeds your strategy and planning, keeps your ad spend honest against real costs, and runs on the same platform as every other agent, so a number is entered once and agrees everywhere.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Does it file to Skatteverket for me?

No. GATE prepares everything, the VAT return, the SIE 4, the annual report, and the checklist, but it never submits to Skatteverket or Bolagsverket for you. You review and submit.

Is it real double-entry bookkeeping?

Yes. A proper double-entry ledger on the Swedish BAS 2026 chart, with VAT, bank reconciliation, and the annual report all built on the same numbers.

What about the share register?

The aktiebok is kept current alongside the books, plus a deadline-aware checklist of everything the company has to file.
