What is GATE?
GATE is a model-agnostic platform for building, scaling, governing, and optimizing multi-agent AI workflows. Agents on GATE have memory that compounds, coordinate with each other, and run autonomously, shipping real production work, not demos.
Who runs GATE?
GATE is operated by Wall & Berg AB, a Swedish company based in Stockholm. Contact hello@gate.software for general questions and legal@gate.software for privacy and legal.
Where is data hosted, and does it leave the EU?
Hosting is in the EU (Hetzner, Helsinki and Falkenstein). A local EU package from EUR 450/month keeps all processing inside the EU. In the default setup, model and infrastructure traffic to the US relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses plus the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified.
Does GATE train AI models on customer data?
No. Customer content is never used to train models. GATE does not store the content of connected accounts like Gmail, Calendar, or Drive, the agent reads it live to do a task and does not copy it into the database.
Is it production-ready?
Yes. GATE runs real workloads today across multiple verticals, shipping code, running support, filing invoices, and moving work forward every day on real customer data. Every agent action is signed, logged, and exportable.
Is a Data Processing Agreement available?
Yes. A signable DPA is available from Wall & Berg AB. A full control map and per-transfer legal basis are published in the Trust Center.
