On every GATE mockup
A page published as a GATE mockup carries a small dark pill in its bottom-left corner that links to gate.software.
The Powered by GATE badge is a small link that pages built with GATE carry back to gate.software. Every GATE mockup shows it, sites GATE's agents build carry it in their footer, and you can paste it into any site GATE built or runs for you: one link, styles inline, no script and nothing loaded from GATE.
Wherever GATE built the page, with two exceptions.
A page published as a GATE mockup carries a small dark pill in its bottom-left corner that links to gate.software.
When GATE's agents build and ship a site, the footer gets the Powered by GATE link at build time, and GATE's live-site check looks for it before the work counts as done.
GATE's own public pages carry it too: the GATE Meet join page and the GATE Book booking and manage pages.
Each snippet is one link with its styles inline, so it looks the same on any site. Drop it in your footer.
The plain link GATE's agents use. It takes your footer's own font and colour.
<a href="https://gate.software/?ref=poweredby" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-gate-powered style="color:inherit;font:inherit;text-decoration:underline;">Powered by GATE</a> A cream pill for light footers.
<a href="https://gate.software/?ref=poweredby" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-gate-powered style="display:inline-flex;align-items:center;gap:6px;font:600 12px/1 -apple-system,BlinkMacSystemFont,'Segoe UI',sans-serif;padding:8px 14px;border-radius:999px;text-decoration:none;background:#fbf8f2;color:#1a1714;border:1px solid #e6dfd3;">Powered by GATE</a> The dark pill GATE puts on mockups.
<a href="https://gate.software/?ref=poweredby" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-gate-powered style="display:inline-flex;align-items:center;gap:6px;font:600 12px/1 -apple-system,BlinkMacSystemFont,'Segoe UI',sans-serif;padding:8px 14px;border-radius:999px;text-decoration:none;background:#1a1714;color:#fff;">Powered by GATE</a> A credit and a link. Nothing else runs on your page.
The badge is one link with its styles inline: no script, no image, no cookie, and nothing fetched from GATE when your page loads.
It points to gate.software/?ref=poweredby with rel="noopener", without nofollow or noreferrer, so search engines follow it and the visit keeps its referrer.
The ?ref=poweredby on the link lets GATE count the visits that arrive from a badge. Nothing follows your visitors around.
The data-gate-powered marker tells GATE a page already carries the badge, so GATE never adds a second one.
gate.software itself carries no badge, and white-label sites GATE builds for separate companies carry no GATE reference at all.
The Powered by GATE badge is a small link that pages and sites built with GATE carry back to gate.software. It credits GATE for the work and gives the next business that sees it a way in. The badge is plain HTML with its styles inline, so it runs no script, loads nothing from GATE and looks the same on any site.
The Powered by GATE badge appears on every GATE mockup as a dark pill in the bottom-left corner, in the footer of sites GATE's agents build and ship, and on GATE's own GATE Meet and GATE Book pages. It is left off gate.software itself and off white-label sites GATE builds for separate companies.
Copy one of the three snippets on this page into your site's footer: the plain footer link GATE's agents use, a light pill or a dark pill. Each snippet is a single link with inline styles, so it needs no setup. If a GATE agent built your site, the footer link is usually there already, marked with data-gate-powered.
No. The Powered by GATE badge is a plain link: it runs no script, sets no cookie and loads nothing from GATE when your page opens. The only signal is the ?ref=poweredby on the link itself, which lets GATE count the visits that arrive at gate.software from a badge.
Yes. The Powered by GATE link uses rel="noopener" without nofollow or noreferrer, so search engines can follow it and the visit keeps its referrer. GATE bakes the link into a site's source at build time, because a link in the shipped HTML lasts longer than one added on the fly.
GATE leaves the Powered by GATE badge off two kinds of site: gate.software itself, which cannot be powered by itself, and white-label sites GATE builds for separate companies, which carry no GATE reference of any kind. Every GATE mockup carries the badge, and sites GATE's agents build get the footer link before they count as done.
GATE is invite only right now while GATE Intelligence onboards a small number of businesses. Once you are in, your own GATE agent can build a landing page or a full site, host it on GATE Sites in Germany and Finland and ship changes when you ask in plain words. Request an invite on this page to start.
